The ASKA S.M.A.R.T. Defense Programs (Safety Methods for Action Response Training)^TM provide students of all ages with educational information as well as physical and mental skills needed to stop the threats of violence from bullies, strangers, and assailants. S.M.A.R.T. Defense^TM is comprised of five age and gender specific programs.

YOUTH S.M.A.R.T.^TM incoporates the acclaimed Bully Buster and Stranger Danger programs that develop conflict resolution and stranger awareness skills:

The Bully Buster^TM Program is designed to educate youth, students ages 3-14, on how to deal with a bully in a positive non-physical approach and not have to resort to violence. The Bully Buster skills teach a student how to understand and protect their personal space along with developing self-confidence, self-awareness, discipline and respect. Students are taught at least ten different methods of conflict resolution, such as learning to say NO to the bully, walk away, talk it out, ask for help, use humor and more.

The Stranger Danger Program teaches students awareness about who and what a stranger is as well as how to deal with an encounter both physically and psychologically. Physical skills of using hands, feet, and voice are taught along with techniques of memorizing characteristics of the stranger, reporting what might have happened and where, as well as proper understanding of the child and parents full name, address, phone number and use of phone skills, along with praising the child when they use good safety judgment.

TEEN S.M.A.R.T.^TM incorporates all the awareness and safety methods of the Bully Buster and Stranger programs, with age specific topics, scenerios and role-playing designed to help the student experience and control the adrenal stress of self-defense. Students are taught how to deal with the physical and emotional process of an escalating confrontation.

FAMILY S.M.A.R.T.^TM provides safety awareness techniques, strategic body positioning methods and self-defense applications for building a confident and effective family defense program. Learn to make quick, smart decisions and provide alternative safe locations in case of emergency. Family S.M.A.R.T. is a fun and exciting family activity for learning the A,B,C’s of self-defense – Awareness, Boundary setting and Combat techniques.

“WOMEN AWARE”^TM – The “Women Aware”^TM Program is a women’s self-defense and awareness program designed to give a women a fighting chance to learn how NOT to become a VICTIM!

EZ-DEFENSE Personal Protection Program for men and women is a realistic self-defense program that combines traditional and modern martial arts methods to stop an attack simply, quickly and effectively. This intense program exposes the student to a wide range of aggressive street attacks and teaches the student to take action. We give you the tools, you learn by doing.
