- Postures: standup, clinch, single neck tie and ear drill for footwork and distance.
- Jap and cross: with lots of proper footwork and distance drills.
- Level change and sprawling: with the J&C and lots of footwork.
- Pummeling basic: looking for the bodylock with proper bodylock takedown.
- Double neck tie: proper grips, pummeling and knees.
- High single: added into the mix of the other mitt drills.
- The proper double leg: also taught with a sprawl.
- Closed guard for MMA: line drill, pull, sit up, airplane and grabs.
- Spider guard MMA series: with the two feeds for a triangle.
- Spider guard MMA series: add the proper way to stand up.
- Escapes from bottom MMA series: frames, upa, shrimp and frame.
- Escapes from bottom MMA series: add stand up from the guard.
- MMA crossides top: hold, hit and mount.
- MMA mount striking and escaping: emphasis on postures.
- MMA guard top: hitting from a good base and avoiding subs.
- Rickson’s kick from bottom drill: use to stand up.
- Clinch of the cage/wall: emphasis on turning with the underhook, hips in and out and the proper times.
- Rear kick and teep: emphasis on form and timing.
